Have a Haunted Halloween

Encounter the Ghosts of the Beekman

The Beekman estate may not only house 80-odd goats, two city boys and a llama-diva - Josh, Brent and visitors hear ghosts of residents past. After their one-year anniversary in the mansion, dishes began clanking, voices started calling out and floorboards began creaking. Since then, a team of ghost hunters identified spirits and the amount of hauntings has only increased.

The townspeople of Sharon Springs and the Beekman Boys themselves believe that the mansion and property are haunted by spirits, and we have some spooky footage to prove it. Catch the evidence on tape.

Hear, See and Experience the Hauntings

Vote Beekman Favorite TV Obsession

Voting is underway for this year's People's Choice Awards and we've been seeing people tweet their votes. Unfortunately, the team behind the People's Choice Awards - whom we're sure are really great people and so handsome and gorgeous - seem to have accidentally left The Fabulous Beekman Boys off this year's ballot! Oops!

So, being that it is election season, we're proposing a write-in campaign. Don't forget to tweet your vote! Here are a few reasons you should vote for the The Fabulous Beekman Boys as your #TVObsession:

1. The Fabulous Beekman Boys are our #PeoplesChoice #TVObsession bc they're farmers, but still dress as well as Don Draper & Sterling Cooper!

2. The Fabulous Beekman Boys are our #PeoplesChoice #TVObsession bc Polkaspot has more diva 'tude than all Real Housewives combined!

3. The Fabulous Beekman Boys are our #PeoplesChoice #TVObsession bc it's the only show about an ex-drag queen goat farmer.

Planet Green Presents 2010's Best Documentaries

BEST NATURE DOCUMENTARY: The Last Beekeeper

The documentary follows the pilgrimage of the bees and beekeepers to the largest beekeeping event of the year—the mass pollination of California's almonds. The interconnectedness between bees and humankind becomes apparent as we learn exactly how much we depend on these waning insects. It is not just a bee or beekeepers' problem; it is a problem for us all. Watch the trailer for the documentary, and don't miss a special airing Saturday at 8:30 p.m. on Planet Green.

OUTSTANDING INDIVIDUAL ACHIEVEMENT IN A CRAFT: RESEARCH: Split Estate

Imagine discovering that you don't own the mineral rights under your land, and that an energy company plans to drill for natural gas two hundred feet from your front door. Imagine having little recourse, other than accepting an unregulated industry in your backyard. Split Estate maps a tragedy in the making, as citizens in the path of a new drilling boom in the Rocky Mountain West struggle against the erosion of their civil liberties, their communities and their health. Watch the trailer for the documentary, and don't miss a special airing Saturday at 10 p.m. on Planet Green.
